Duck Egg Blue- Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
DUCK EGG BLUE- ANNIE SLOAN CHALK PAINT TM
This soft greenish blue stems from the first discovery of a good blue pigment in the 18th Century, which was then lightened with white. It can be described as a Rococo blue, as nothing says French and Swedish interiors quite like this colour.
Available in 100ml small project pots and 1 litre tins.
How To Use Chalk Paint TM
As a rough guide, one litre of Chalk Paint® covers approximately 13 square metres, or the equivalent of a small dresser.
For most purposes, one coat of paint is enough, depending on the finish you are looking for. For a more "solid" colour, two coats would be recommended. Chalk Paint® adheres to almost any surface, and there is rarely any need to sand or prime before painting.
To get started, tip pot upside down and shake before use. Then open and stir well. If paint is too thick just add a little water and stir.TIP:
If you are painting pine and do not wish to stop the knot oil pulling through the paint, apply clear shellac, white knotting solution or white French polish to the area before painting
Not recommended for painting over teak.
